Good morning Kevin! You're right: when the gimbal loses its calibration and this problem can't be fixed in flight, it's annoying! - If the drone does a good job otherwise, why not fix the flaw in the editing software? Adobe Premiere offers the possibility to "straighten" the video, and even the inexpensive "Movavi Video Suite" software for everyone includes this possibility... I will try calibrating the gimbal before takeoff next time to see if that helps.I'm using filmora for editing and not sure if you can fix the horizon in that software.

Your in sports mode it will act that way in that mode nice flight 😊

Nice spot, that little guy handles gooey light conditions pretty well, contrast looks excellent with or without good light. Unfortunate about the gimbal tilt - easy to rectify in post tho. But only if the thing works - that first flight was pretty disastrous.

It's the best camera drone i have out of them all so far,wait until you see its low light capabilities.I'm not sure what went on during that first takeoff.

@@capeRCouple Autel is no joke, they make lots of Industry level stuff, I'm not surprised it's good kit - that low light performance makes it a serious tool! Pkus it looks great too! I dunno if you've ever dabbled in the "hobby grade" stuff, but there was a time that when you were done making your drone fly, with PID tuning, you had to manually calibrate your gimbals too, with PID loops just like a quadcopter. AlexMOS was the firmware, nightmare fuel bro!

nope,i just started getting into this stuff since 2017 and the origional mavic mini was my first somewhat expensive quadcoptor but wait until you see what i have for the next video;it was very expensive when it was released and i got a steal of a deal on it.Im just waiting on some decent weather to film it. @GhostRyderFPV

my x8 v2 mini has finally arrived, I thought I had a good one, but it seems to have a camera gimbal quirk, well ok it has a fault, I used the f word... guess i'll be using it more as i use it more and discover more quirks..

i would say send it back asap for replacement but it will cost $150 shipping,try calibrating the gimbal
