I hope this isn't out of place... My path to Christ went through Bitcoin. Similar to you, I was a nominal christian in my youth, but didn't have that real epiphany until later. When I understood, everything changed. What led to understanding was contemplation of the meaning of Truth. Why did Bitcoin cause this in me? Because it's a truth machine... Not the truth of God per se, but a self referential language of truth and it serves as a transmitter of value. Value is subjective, but it's also a rank ordered hierarchy of needs, and a money which is engineered to be immutable and have a hard maximum supply, forces us to actually think about our priorities. So I was having epiphany after epiphany, but it really only came together when I was terrified of death and I couldn't breathe after the vaccine ... It wasn't covid, I tested negative, it was the vaccine that did it... And I prayed and it was a real prayer, not going through the motions, because I was terrified and I needed help. Then the spirit, what I now understand as the helper, helped me. I got better. And everything shifted, and what I was trying to learn because of Bitcoin came into focus... For several months, I kept reading the Bible and listening to testimony on KZbin and I cried a lot and kinda feel like crying any time I think about it, but it's a good thing, and it's really hard to explain and probably harder to understand. Similar to you, it comes in waves now. I hear the same is happening to a lot of Bitcoiners. The government hates us, so I think that makes it easier to understand Christ and early Christianity. Oh, also please don't confuse Bitcoin with crypto, that's not us, that's basically sin - it entraps and enslaves people. So, I'm a little worried that this comment could lead people into something very unhealthy. Pride is to think you know something ; humility requires an understanding that you can never know anything unless the truth itself reveals itself (himself, really, that's the big reveal). Anyways, thanks for the informative talk. I found this channel because I was looking for an audio reading of the baptist confession of faith.

I live literally surrounded by Christians on my street. The only difference is where our cars are on Sunday morning. In the spring when my gardens bloom, I take flowers to all of them. The only thing I've ever gotten from my neighbors - 2 pastors, a Catholic, a Pentecostal, and a non-defined, have been headaches from the pastor next door not knowing how to manage their dog. Oh, and I got baked goods from a Muslim family who used to live three houses down. Interestingly, I've never been invited to any of their churches even on holidays when they know I moved 100 miles from my home church. I'm atheist now so not to worry, y'all.

Not everyone who says they're Christian actually understands what it means. In fact, most don't. Just pursue the truth - in any domain, pursuing truth leads to God, if you follow it with real interest. After you do understand, invite those guys to your church, whatever type that happens to be, and model what it really means to be a Christian... Or what it really means to be a human... Ideally, the two are the same.

As an atheist, you believe there is no God. Have you considered the Fibonacci geometric progression which is a mathematical design that increases in spiral shape according to formula. It is found throughout the natural world in things like flowers and snail shells. Even found in the spiral galaxies. How did a random explosion and subsequent entropy form these? To me, this is God's undeniable fingerprint.
