My friend from Nigeria makes these for me. They are delicious. They serve as your bread and your dessert. You are right, they melt in your month. Even after you have refrigerated or freeze them and nook them in the microwave. They are very delicious. She calls them Puff Puff. Because she does such a good job, I let her make them for me and now I am her customer.

I just made them for Memorial Day and they are superb. I dissolved about 2 Tbsp of sugar with the yeast and water to test my yeast first and then put the remaining sugar with the rest of the ingredients. I followed the recipe to a T and it worked. I’ve been craving this for about 6 months now. Thanks Sweet Adjeley for satisfying this craving. I’m adding this to our family recipes.

@@nefissanefi4013 I didn't have the butter flavor so I just stuck to freshly grated nutmeg. I used all purpose flour I got from Aldi, scooped with a spoon and measured it into a standard measuring cup. Did you test your yeast to make sure it was active? What exactly went wrong with your bofrot? I could maybe offer some helpful suggestions if I know went wrong. Thanks :)
