You definitely hit the highlights there. 🤩 Also add Hinodeya Ramen to your list for dashi-based broth (for those that don’t eat tonkatsu like me).

I started watching you when you went to Puerto Rico as I have family that lives there. Was awesome watching you tour the island and eat foods I commonly make. Plus, you're very cute, so makes for easy watching. 😂 I love Japanese culture; especially the light meals they make. I've had sushi, but not with raw fish. I really want to try it, even my 7 year old daughter has had it and loves it. Also; that's some expensive ass sushi!

I love fresh mochi! The chewy texture with the sweet filling is simply wonderful. I am so happy you enjoyed San Francisco's Japantown. It's wonderful there, and if you follow the historic plaques all around the area, you can also learn more about it's history. =)

If your budget is allowed, I would greatly suggest to explore places with unique things. For example, the blue poppies of Bhutan.

As usual good video, show casing Japanese food outside Japan. Today you mentioned your two daughters, for whom you are buying two Japanese dolls, I am wondering, when you meet or live with your family as the videos I have seen on your channel, I never seen you with family. I am sure, you must be a responsible parent and would be balancing your professional life as blogger and your family life.

Ginger is one of my favorite spices, man. I've never had it pickled, though. That sounds really interesting! I've always been struck by how beautiful sushi looks, and the amount of care that's put into making it. I've heard a lot of great things about matcha. My mom swears by it, so I'm gonna have to try it someday! The ramen looks like the perfect meal to have on a cold winter day. But I guess you don't have to deal with that much, being from Miami! And mochis sound like my kind of dessert! I love just about anything with a fruit filling, so I'm definitely adding that to my list of foods to try! Amazing video and I love the music you chose for it!
@Davidsbeenhere6 жыл бұрын
Yea bro add them all! Everything was so good. Never had pickled ginger before? Every sushi restaurant serves it to you with sushi. Oh man those Mochis!
@brandonmoore22376 жыл бұрын
Haha, I've never had sushi! I've been vegetarian for about 10 years, but if I ever go back to meat, I'll be sure to try it!
@newmoon3206 жыл бұрын
Hello Brandon, there are vegetarian sushi rolls you can try. Popular vegetarian sushi are using cucumber, avocado, tofu... You can also choose brown rice instead of white rice. Pickled ginger is called Gari in Japanese.

Brandon Moore I'm also from South Florida, here in Ft. Lauderdale. Definitely no worries about a hot ramen to warm you up, but I can appreciate it as I'm originally from Maine. I was going to ask you if there are any good sushi spots in Miami as I've only found chain sushi restaurants here in Broward.

That Price Fixed menu was a total ripoff. Only a naïve tourist would do that. No local would touch that. Too many better choices nearby.

Absolutely. But a person who eats noodles with a spoon...anything can happen.

Alot of fish or "sushi" is actually aged and not "fresh"....just sayin to all those people that think it just came out of the ocean.

I live across the street from Japan Town. Dude is standing in the plaza, near public toilets at an absolute rip off restaurant. Way overpriced. What was this guy thinking? He was robbed and ought to be embarrassed. Seriously. Embarassed.
