Authentic & Leung Ting cant be written together on the same phrase, it's very wrong. Leung Ting was never trained by Ip Man. Furthermore, he is the less talented Wing Chun practitioner and Sifu (wont even mention the word "fighter", again this word cant be in the same sentence with Leung Ting's name). Leung Ting was just good marketing and he was lucky enough to have a few good students. This is it.

That's just untrue, given that Yip Man mentioned LT as a closed door student in one of his interviews (New marital Hero episode 56. Quite conversely, of all of Yip Man's students Leung Ting was probably lucky enough to have spent the most quality time with Yip Man during private classes to have many pictures together, but it was LT's skill which made GGM Yip Man put him as instructor at the VTAA (note this was while Yip man was still alive).

@@Joe19Fj70xc Ip Man said that when he was really sick. According to Ip Man's sons and senior students, including Wong Sheun Leung, Moe Yat etc, Leung Ting was never trained by Ip Man. They don't like William Cheung either, but they don't doubt that Ip Man had trained him. No matter what, I have personal experience from Leung Ting, as I have from many Masters. He was by far the less talented of them all that I have met, including 2nd generation Sifus like Samuel Kwok and others.

@Mario-R-3232 Weird then that other yip man students such as Wang Kiu, Siu Yuk Men and previous presidents of the VTAA (including Yip Man's son Yip Ching) all support the idea that Leung Ting learnt under Yip Man. The Ving Tsun Athletic Association in HK publishes their genealogy book regularly - you should take a look. Wong Shun Leung and LT were known to be friends amongst the VTAA, so I also dont know what you're talking about. Given how inaccurate your information is, the likihood you've actually met LT is low. Leung Ting's Wing Tsun is efficient, practical and has the most advanced theories. It's not a coincidence that he's trained so many accomplished students such as Maday Norbert and Emin Boztepe. For what its worth - I have also met many masters from many lineages and I can assure you that LT's high level students have continued to leave the strongest impression on me compared to others
