While this is a minor point in this message, I wonder if the offering that Cain brought was not really the problem, but rather the a lack of faith that accompanied it. I suspect that even if Cain had brought flesh and blood offerings just like those of his brother, they would not have been any more acceptable. But Ken is certainly right this: if Cain would have just been honest (authentic!) with his Creator (and with himself!), things would have turned out very differently!
