I was an archeologist for many years starting back in the 60's got to travel all over the world. I ran into several of those auction house experts who tried to tell me my collection was fake. I was literally at the dig sights working on my hands and knees and in labs cleaning artifacts myself. And they still kept on insisting i don't know what I'm talking about. I was at a large art / antique show displaying my pieces one time and one of those experts was busy reading my research work from a dig I was on. I ran into him the next day at the show walking around and heard him telling someone all about his so called expert knowledge of ancient jades. Problem was everything he was telling them came from my theses! You have a wonderful collection I wish I had a chance to study some of you pieces. Your pottery is something I never had a chance to learn about before. I bet seeing them in person would be amazing.

Lester Miller You sound like an amazing person. I love looking for treasures and anomalies within our Earth. Would love to attend a dig. I collect meteorites as well as early stone tools. I am intrigued by the Giants who have been found in Okla. I know where a giant footprint is also. Fascinating topic of the gentleman offering his generous vast knowledge of the Chinese Jade & porcelain & pottery. I have learned so much! Happy hunting! 🗿

Lester Miller be happy to hear what show, when, auction, “expert”. These stories seem to be a common issue amongst sellers.

So beautiful, I like best when pieces show such colors. It looks more natural. Like people who age, I like to see all the wear and wrinkles...it tell the story of the life.

You could say I have a love relationship with rocks. I decided to look for jade on our property we got about one year ago. Will I am finding it. I feel like God has leaned down and kissed me. It’s not an area know for jade but had the beautiful blue schist on a small apportion where the creek runs through it. I found a jade rock and sliced it with my rock cutter my husband just got me. I was so disappointed in the jade because it had brown inclusions in the light green jade but than I saw your video and your beautiful pieces wow. Thank you for showing me my jade is beautiful.

The auction houses have no incentive to appraise jade properly. I have a 5 color jadeite from Vietnam that is real and was told it was another stone, not jade, had to insist with the “expert” then they relented. They’re probably just jealous

Beautiful collection. It makes me mad the deceit these auction houses have got away with.
