As a former charismatic Christian I always say in this NEW age of the Heart we need to “evangelize” every part of our ego. @@Mama-Alicat I love your question. Our aversion to self-realization need not come from inadequacy alone; there's also wisdom along with that. You (whomever I speaking to) whether you believe or not are incredibly dangerous. So is everybody else. To activate this danger and wield it righteously puts on the kind of burden we see in Spiderman (power & responsibility). Look at this world...obviously should you come to some wealth and wisdom and friends you'd be burdened with the tangible possibility of changing the world (kinda like now). There is a sense of unworthiness but I personally believe its more of a convenient excuse rather than an objective assessment.

One could possibly say that as a low income Brazilian mom married to a man who's highly narcissistic and neurotic and who can't hold down a job, that my life sucks, and it does, for the most part. Good morning, I do not usually make comments. But this video so resonated with me that I wanted to share. I realized years ago how similar an airplanes Flight was to our path. Such as if you don’t have the right attitude, you will sink, and if you have your nose too high, you will stall. Just very basic aspects. But this morning you said something that was just an aha moment. You were talking about the polarity to have the heart and mind to connect. On an airplane, there is a module called ground monitoring unit. If you have to use an external power cart, a.k.a. a boost the ground monitoring unit will not allow the connection to be made until the voltage and the polarity are in the right range. Then the ground control unit continues to monitor For low-voltage, in flight. If it senses that the system voltage is low, it gives you a flashing alert so that you know to engage the standby alternator, so that you continue to have a source of power to make it to your intended destination. @@KaraKahn yes. i followed several of Sapolski's lectures online. He had put a whole module of university classes online for free. Years ago, long before Huberman. He is great. But later he started talking about free will. He had a depression of some sort and deceided all human behavior is entirely caused by biology and there is no ghost in the machine like free will. I was so dissapointed, I deceided not to listen to these videos and keep my memories of his classes the way i like it, and i moved on to others like Abke. But I'm curious to see how such a conversation goes. I noticed that anytime Abke has someone else on his channel it ways ends up the guest talking and him interviewing. Not much the other way around. Even when he had Teal Swan on: she talked about herself and never asked about him in return. That is also how i imagine the conversation will go with Sapolski: Abke will ask Sapolski some strategic questions so he can think more along those lines. I wonder what Abke's questions will be to make a biologist maybe find spiritual meaning. We could turn it into a book. '10 questions to ask yourself in search for your free will, to get you out of depression: From fatalism to meaning of life'. Sapolski will be the ideal person to test the method. It will be a bestseller.

what would you tell a 21 year old girl who is just highly sensitive to everyone and everything, struggles with a very overactive mind and just doesn’t seem to “get” spirituality even though a lot of these concepts and teachings have been present in my life for a while? My main struggles for years now is su1cidal ideation and insecurities on the physical body and i have given up on everything because i can’t even believe in a future for me (i know i know, the future isn’t real but you get the concept). sometimes im just sick of myself because of how arrogant i sound or how badly i am wrapped in ego but…i don’t know what to do, i can go on about all the things im struggling with and even the negative forces that linger around me but im so tired and i don’t know who to reach out to. i know only i can help myself but sometimes i just feel like i need that passerby to just give me some advice or encouragement. i feel separated from everything even though i still can’t grasp the concept of “zero separation in this universe”

stop, breathe in through the nose slowly, exhale out through the mouth make sound hhhaaaa 3 times. breathing being aware of the breath takes us out of the mind. put attn on heart continue to focus on breathing. totally innerstand as super sensitive, overactive mind as well. I escaped to mind as feeling everything can be overwhelming. feeling safe in the body and here on earth is the challenge, grounding is important. focus on feet walk barefoot on grass, ask permission to the trees if you can hug them and receive their beautiful energies. again come back to noticing your breath, heart, feet. all the best dear one. this too shall pass. ❤❤❤❤❤
