It gives you Ghost In The Shell vibes because the soundtrack of that anime is inspired by traditional Bulgarian folk music. The composer (Kenji Kawai) originally wanted to use a Bulgarian choir but he was unable to get in touch with any during those times. So he decided to use Japanese lyrics and Japanese singers but blend it with the Bulgarian style he originally wanted. This created an interesting hybrid between Japanese and Bulgarian culture and became the Ghost In The Shell soundtrack. :)

This is the translation of said ancient chant. :D The song is about this bachelor grandpa who cheekily put his 'kalpak' (an old timey hairy hat) to the side and went to the village. In the village the young ladies were dancing a 'horo' (a traditional Bulgarian dance) and he went to dance as well. Most of the ladies scattered, except for the youngest one Angelina, who stayed. An interpretation is that the song aims to show how easily people can jump to conclusions, but Angel-ina who is a symbol of good (hence the name) saw past any prejudice and danced with the grandpa.
