Chris was a wonderful guest, and you did an excellent job of interviewing him! It was so interesting to hear the back stories of how he used traumas in his early life to mold him into a writer. I hope to read his earlier books now too. Thank you for hosting him‼️

I find these conversations so enriching. What a powerful personal story (and it's fascinating to hear someone who finds *America* a safe place!). And it's so interesting to hear about how he has to "learn" the characters...again, as though they exist apart from himself. I find hearing the writer's approach so intriguing. Thanks for arranging these!
