My book was published by the same publisher as him, BlackRose Writing, and I wish I had a table to promote it! Its pretty cool that our small little publishing house was able to hit this surprise homerun. Writing a book is one thing, getting it noticed and promoted is a whole other thing.

Honestly you're a great person - I love when we young people share real books with our peers - one of my greatest treasures as a kid was a collection of Disney books and my mum used to berate me for giving them out to my friends but honestly I'm just glad that I could share the gift of storytelling/knowledge with them. Books = kindness to me ❤️

I just LOVE how humble and genuine both Shawn and Red are. The way Shawn is so incredibly grateful puts a big smile on my face 😊 My mother is actually visiting my 13-year-old niece today who lives a few hours away and she is bringing this book 📖 to her as a gift for doing an amazing job during a community theater play she was in last month. I came on here to find a nice story that my mom, "Gramma," could share with her regarding the background of the author and exactly how we came across this book for her. She's a great kid, and I know she will be SO grateful to receive this book (one of her first "longer" books 📚). She's a go-getter, so I have a feeling that she will read this before the kids start school next week!!! I know you said that you get excited when you hear about the kids that get to read your book, Shawn... we want to graciously thank you!
