Pistol doesn’t have the accuracy, and being that 9mm is the most common round, also doesn’t have the stopping power. Shotgun has too much recoil and doesn’t have the ammo capacity. AR platforms allow for shoulder fire accuracy with a .223 (less recoil) round and various magazine capacities. 30 round being the most prevalent. Every weapon has its advantages but I tend to agree with the video and its findings. Obviously this also brings up the “which ever weapon is in your hand” argument, which is the only argument.

An ar15 is nothing like a military m16. M16 has a full auto selector switch.for the record I was active duty back in 92-94 and the M16 we used was set up this way. 19Kilo was my mos so my focus was on a much bigger weapon but the M16 I used was military grade so it was probably m16a1

The argument in this case was the man who was burgled used 'excessive force' by stabbing the intruder - from my perspective is utter BS! You're not going to face off with an intruder who could be potentially armed and then take the time to think of what you should do. You act instinctively which this guy did, you don't have time to stand around and think of what action to take. If you enter another person's home illegally then expect to be met with hostility. I'm surprised people in the USA have the balls to commit burglary considering everybody and their granny is armed! I stand by your 2nd amendment right to firearms. It's no different to having a machete - a gun maybe deadlier but you can do just as much if not more damage with a machete. You just have to be within striking distance!

A gun ban will only enable gun violence by criminals that will surely have them. When they don't have access to them they will utilize one of the other tools mentioned above to serve out a cruel death on society's unarmed citizenry. A society that is unarmed is a society of victims! The evil that is resident in some human beings knows no mercy and will cause the death of another by some of the most horrific and brutal means imaginable. Gun ownership is necessary in this world to bring equalization and safety and to assist our injustice system in ridding society of some of the evil doers. No mercy shown to intruders, robbers, rapists, murderers and those who unlawfully batter other helpless or civil human beings. I am so sick and tired of people demonizing a firearm. OMG, it's a "semi- automatic" rifle! A bolt action rifle is notoriously more accurate and a 12 guage pump w/o a plug in the tube gives you 5+1, making it far more devastating! Some lever actions can hold up to a dozen rounds... who cares? Guns are not evil, nor more than a hammer is. The people that use these weapons incorrectly are evil. It'll be a cold, freezing, miserably cold day in Hell, similiar to a New York winter, :) before I ever let go of my AR-15 or my Mini-14. I paid way too much for the Colt and I happen to like the Ruger better. This so-called "legal analyst" just likes to create drama. Good thing this young man had a weapon and the knowledge on how to use one. Apparently his parents taught him well. Otherwise he would've ended up in the hospital or morgue while minding his own business inside his own home. I just pray he handles this situation well mentally.
