Autism Acceptance Week 2024 in Kilbrittain National School

This is just a taster of some of the things we did to celebrate Autism Acceptance Week in our school this year:
-Classes learned about autism through powerpoint, story and videos
-Classes learned about inspirational autistic people
-An autistic past pupil came to speak to 5th class about his life experience
-John from AsIAm came to speak to 6th class about autism
-Assembly with an extra special performance from 1st class
-Bake Sale
-Fun Run/Walk for Autism
