One powerful thing that i have learned and implemented in 1.5 years of my son's neurodiversity journey is that - don't solely depend on therapies. Therapies are helpful but over the time become monotonous making the child very robotic... Instead i have linked my son's weaknesses to alternative ways of overcoming them... For example - his hand flapping and arms instability has reduced by 80% when i enrolled him in Gymnastics and boxing and talked to his Gymnastics teacher about his condition... his understanding of alphabets, numbers, concepts increased by 100% when i enrolled him with a very good normal tuition teacher and also had told about his condition to her beforehand.... both of these, not only gave the desired results but also made him more social.... all the while therapy is also going on... We as parents just have to think a little harder and connect the dots of the weakness to the readily available remedies around... we just have to be consistent and persistent to take our child to these alternative places.... with this the child not only overcomes his weakness but also learns a new skill... and these courses are much much much cheaper than the robotic therapy sessions...

i am following josh talk special mom religiously . sadly she is first one who has witnessed good therapist. Today finding a good therapist, teachers, schools who will accept our autistic child are very very few. i Mostly we parents are only working day and night all alone. Sad reality

Thank you Josh talks for bringing this series. I am watching each episode and it’s helping me learn and get some tips. And most importantly these episodes are helping me with staying positive and hopeful. These parents are example of there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Stop tv completely and don't show things like mowgli. Kids try to copy. I belive in mowgli, the main character doesn't talk.
