@@TyrellGames i... close enough (technically this is the Guitar Hero: Smash Hits chart, basically recharting some of the songs from non-full band games to be full band. they used mocap for some of the animations, since they were still running off skamtebord engine and could just do that; the harmonix guitar hero games (1, 2, 80s) were made by actual musicians instead of people that made skateboard games for 7 straight years, so they used basic animation keyframes corresponding to chord shapes on the guitar's fretboard, cause it was fast and light and they were on a super crunch for guitar hero 1; now the drums are a fuckin nightmare. basically, before neversoft got to it, it was (as mentioned) basic animation keyframes for guitar hero 1. however, guitar hero 2 was gonna have drums before activision did an activision, so some songs just straight up have actual Rock Band-style drum animations (figures; they'd go on to do it next year). same with 80s, but they tried less. everything else, i'm too tired to explain.)
