When she was asked to give the big piece to the other kid she was startled when the Legos fell down. It’s incredible that she still remembered to grab the piece and put it back behind her towards the other kid.

Abigail does not seem to have autism to me. She does do some mimicking of her brother but that seems to be more of a display of empathy.

lack of empathy in not necessarily a autism trait and it present differently in girls and woman as do most mental and physical illness.

Please someone help me. My daughter is two year old. She somtimes does things in a proper way but some days she is very irritating as if something is wrong according to her which she does not like. She plays with us like any orher normal child. She wants to play with other kids. She has proper eye contact i mean if we try to talk. She responds to her name. But the main thing she does not say her name yet. She says a lot of words like : daddy , mommy, mumma, and all what she likes to eat but does not frame two words in a sentence except she says comb hair , brush teeth, wash hands thats it. She knows what danger is she does not do anything dangerous. But she is not scared of thing except the sound of mixer grinder or hair dryer. She knows all the abcs 123s which is again a red flag but she also knows body parts. Immitate rhymes completely. Intrested in her gifts to open them. Plays hide and seek

I’m starting to think that I carry the gene and my oldest at 2, is not talking and she doesn’t really like to play with her younger sister, her emotions are hard to control, also my 1 year old, there isn’t any huge signs but she is completely different than her bigger sister, only thing is she isn’t walking or talking yet so we will see within the next year

There are a lot of factors for someone having autism, but in my case and my family's situation, all my kids have autism because of genetics. There are also environmental factors to consider for cause, but genetics in our case. We were invited to join a study for mothers with multiple children diagnosed with autism. Abigail was not diagnosed here, she was considered inconclusive and to bring her back for evaluation later on. She was diagnosed later on in America at a little bit older age. It is harder for girls to get a diagnoses because they mask VERY well unless they are on the more severe side of the spectrum. In our case, because I was diagnosed with EDS, the EDS gene also causes mothers to pass autism to their kids. Very highly likely from the study we were in that EDS genes share autism genes and that is why all my kids have autism (even my older son that has a different father than my two youngest).

@@FoolyLiving yes, it’s something that’s been heavy on my mind, thinking that it’s something I’m doing wrong, or it’s something I just can’t control. I’ve decided I shouldn’t have any more kids for that reason because I don’t know the answer as to why my kids are showing signs and is put as high risk for autism, I do however think that our spectrum can be helped alot of commonalities in other families children that are going through this as well. When I saw this video it made me understand more that my child could be perfectly fine and that she’s just having a hard time expressing herself not being able to talk. I hope to see my children start picking up their communication, because it’s something I’ve been praying about for a while now, seeing your daughter talk and being able to handle her energy is something that I hope my oldest will be hopefully very soon

Dear friend, I saw the video you shared and was touched and deeply understand your hard work and dedication. I would like to tell you that we have a series of products specially designed for children with autism, which can help them improve their social, cognitive and perceptual skills. If you are interested in working with us to promote these products, we can work together to bring hope and help to more families. Looking forward to your reply, thank you!😘

Couple things I see right out the gate... as soon as u enter the facility u allow her to do what she wants in there... its not her room, she's not at home... That is a parenting issue... I own a daycare and the parents who cannot teach children basic respect by NOT climbing on the furniture... I turn away. I don't turn them away as a mean gesture but children have to be taught to behave out in public... So what this tells me is that the parents are unable to control their children amd are relying on me to teach them BASIC principles... that's not my job. I also know if there are behavior issues in my center the parents will dismiss what I say because they don't care in a public setting so I know they won't care at home or in my center. I understand she's being evaluated but the waiting room is for the public not for evaluation.
@FoolyLiving2 жыл бұрын
You shouldnt work with small children if you believe they should be adults and you are judging them and their parents. That's just simple truth. Re-evaluate.
@tangowhiskygirl2 жыл бұрын
The waiting room is clearly designed to make children feel welcome and comfortable. The fact that a 2 year old climed on a colorful sofa is not a parenting problem. The fact that someone who cares for children has this kind of attitude is a big problem though.
@instinctivejudgement Жыл бұрын
I believe if this is your view then you shouldn't be working with children. Young kids are still trying to understand how the world works and trying to learn how to regulate their emotions. To expect a 2 year old to "behave" in public is ridiculous. They are not little robots.
