Hello Learning and Fun. That is not something that definitely leads to autism. As a matter of fact is too soon to tell if a baby will have autism because the brain is on a process of the developmental procedure. But if the motor development doesn’t fit on normal motor patterns it might leads in some sensory and cognitive deficits. Prematurity is a condition that needs special and gentle care. Maybe your baby doesn’t process the tummy time on the floor. Try to give time on your body and day by day try to put your baby on the floor little bit and a bit more the other day etc. I have a lot of information about how to accomplish this important skills but you need to have patience and give your baby the time to be comfortable at this position. Every baby has their own way to process and to accomplish something. We must respect them as they are human beings and they have their opinion. I hope that it was helpful for you.
