I have things I collect but not stuffies. So, I kind of get the whole comfort item things. My cats are my primary comfort because they are my children.

As we know, I'm trying out stuff to make my life easier. I'm wondering if some kind of sound machine would help me sleep better. That's something I will try out - so thank you so much for pointing it out. I have 3 old plushies still in mint condition that are from my childhood. I don't keep them on my bed but next to it on the table. I have a beautiful oil painting of a church on a snowy night that my grandpa painted, a Tiffany lamp I got in 1992, and my books. Ssssssssso.many.books lol I love books of any kind. I have one that is my grandpas published in 1942 called Over the Top (about a soldier in WWII) and so many more various subjects of all kinds. I have 3 pair of sweatpants that are my comforts and a few tee shirts of a specific texture. Thats about it lol

This is so awesome! Thanks for sharing Dawn!❤ A sound machine or even having something like a sound machine video on youtube on a phone at night can really be helpful! I have c-ptsd and for me sleeping in a silent room with no light is just too much and i end up having nightmares and night terrors. I actually really struggled with sleep before finding the sound machines and the other “little” things that work for me. Maybe, i’ll film a video on how I managed to get to a place where i can now have restful nights!❤
