Teaching assistants like Ms. Ayesha are worth ten hundred times their weight in gold. I have nothing but respect and admiration for them. Ms. Ayesha is a superstar - very caring, thoughtful and supportive to this young man plus her assistance in the classroom, speaking as a teacher, is invaluable. What a wonderful staff at that school! Does anyone know how this young man is doing today?
@22Phantasm2 ай бұрын
You are right about Ms Ayesha, she is outstanding. The problem is, and being a teacher you should know this... TAs are paid peanuts and treated like skivvies by some teachers. They are rarely thanked, expected to work way more than their grade and hardly get the credit for their 1:1 work. I have worked with over 30 children with needs in a 13 year period in 5 different schools as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant..... and EVERY TA I have spoken to agrees with me. Because they've experienced all the problems first hand. Christopher told the truth that Ms Ayesha was his best teacher, even though she is a TA. That says it all.
@phily80932 ай бұрын
She was remarkable. She should be seen on the same level as the teacher in front of the board. Different but equal. Such a hard role. The most wonderful people aren't respected or rewarded enough by society. But to the people whose hearts and minds they've touched, and whose lives they've changed, they are priceless.

@22Phantasm I miss my TA Mr Finch. He was like one of my best friends at school too. If I was seriously overwhelmed we would just leave the class for a min or two and I'd come back fine. The regular teachers didn't like that. But didn't complain when my grades went up. Thanks to my TA not them. He's a full time teacher now and I bet he's doing great things and helping the most in need of it.
@22PhantasmАй бұрын

She did so much in those 3 years, she became my counselor/mentor (I don't know the exact English word for it) and helped me with all things regarding school and the rest. She didn't get paid for helping me so much, but she did it because she wanted to:) A few days ago I suddenly got a text asking about how I've been, so even now she still thinks about me:) So I totally agree with you, we need more teachers with that patience and positivity. That works well for everyone:)

@whyyouneedmyname24344 жыл бұрын
@@h4rry30mg You will die and face God on judgement day, whether you believe in Him or not. We've all sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Have you ever lied, stolen something (regardless of value), used God's name in vain, hated anyone or looked with lust on someone? If you have, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, murderer and adulterer at heart. The wages of sin is death, that is, both spiritual and physical. The Bible warns that all atheists, liars and murderers shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. It also says that no adulterer, no thief, no drunkard, no fornicator (sex outside of marriage, watching pornography) shall inerit the kingdom of God. Why? Because God is Holy and righteous and cannot let sin go unpunished. Now how can a just God reconcile a guilty sinner like you with Him? Because God is rich in mercy, he provided a way so you don't have to end up in Hell. 2000 years God became a man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, born of virgin, sinless, lived among us and did many miracles, fed thousands with a couple of loaves of bread and some fishes, healed the sick, casted out demons with His Word only, raised the dead and finally, went to cross and died, was burried and resurrected by the power of God the third day, all of that because of His great love that He has towards you. God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him is not gonna perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hasn't believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. What you have to do is to repent (have a change of mind in how you view yourself, turn from your sin) and believe in Jesus Christ (transfer the trust that you have in yourself into Him) and you shall be saved. In respect to the other thousands of religions out there, Jesus said this " I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, but by me". The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You can't earn your way to Heaven, it's God's gift to you, just accept it and repent and God promises He will make you a new creature in Christ Jesus.

It's a shame he lives in a shitty world that will challenge him a lot. Like A LOT. People won't like his personality, won't be patient with him and might even give up on him. He is a strong willed young man, that has great potential to achieve great things.
@Gulliedoutbigup4 жыл бұрын
I don't agree with that in the slightest. Yes, you are going to have some people who won't like him due to how he acts, those people will typically be young people who want to be seen as cool hard kids with no emotions. Your typically 'roadmen' that a lot of guys seem to think they are. That's typically in the 14-21 age range. However generally everyone else is going to be accepting, they might be a bit caught off guard by it because who's genuinely that nice randomly? Hardly anyone. But he'll win them over. If people were like the ones you are describing, I would think that his school life would be terrible as he'll get picked on a lot, but as you can see almost everyone likes him. Even those that I described as being the ones to dislike him. Of course those particular kids know he's autistic, but that's still not the point. Positivity does rub off on people. It's just American positivity is fucking cringe, and that's what we tend to shut off as brits lmao.
@AS-dr1cp4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Some people are too good and kind for this world.
@MrPianoMan4 жыл бұрын
@@Gulliedoutbigup yes but no... so you're saying that everyone up until the age of 21 will be either mean, impatient or disrespectful and above this age everyone else will be fine with people with autism or other disabilities. If so, I completely disagree with what you're saying lol (I can tell we're going in circles). Adults are even worse at criticising people and judging a book by their cover. Children don't care who they play with, teens create social groups and adults continue to follow these social groups. Seniors tend to give up and say fu*k it. If everyone above the age of 21 was nice and didn't discriminate, oh how the world would be such a different place. A case study for you to look up would be Trump. He probably views any disability to be a complete hindrance in life and everyone with one has no great future. He probably watches "the nature of retardation"
@Gulliedoutbigup4 жыл бұрын
@@MrPianoMan To your first paragraph. That's not what I'm saying in the slightest. I said 'yes you are going to have SOME people who don't like him'. I personally don't understand how you translated that to mean everyone, but shall we move on? second paragraph - Kind of the point I was making. So if you would please pay attention to the actual words I am using instead of inventing different meanings for them, like you did with the word some and turned that into everyone. I said that the people who would be bullying him are accepting of him in this environment. By bringing up the fact that people that are young are typically going to be the ones who are going to give him a hard time in life.. and then pointing out that they aren't actually doing that is me saying that I don't agree with when you said that this world is full of people who will give him shit simply because they find him annoying and/or don't like him. A cast study for me to look up would be no one, thank you. Considering you completely misunderstood what I was saying I'd prefer it if you didn't talk down to me like I don't know what I'm talking about when it's infact you not actually reading the words I am saying, but instead making something else up entirely. I bid you good day, sir.
@MrPianoMan4 жыл бұрын
@@Gulliedoutbigup haha. You literally have no idea... First paragraph: I quote from your original statement "however EVERYONE else is going to be accepting". You yourself said that everyone else above the age of 21, that isn't a kid anymore or a "roadman" WILL like him no matter what. "he just has to win them over..." Your fact is completely wrong as many adults will hate/discriminate him for whatever reason. Second paragraph: I said that children don't discriminate as they play with everyone, teens make social groups and adults follow them. You obviously don't understand what this means as this has nothing to do with what you originally said. "Teens creating social groups" is a bad thing as different social groups clash and discriminate against other groups. Therefore, if adults continue to follow these, some social groups will most definitely discriminate and has people with Autism or other disabilities. Third paragraph: educate yourself and realise that many adults will hate people with disabilities and will never be accepting. No matter how happy or jolly the disabled person is. Sadly it's apart of life. Conclusion, some adults will absolutely discriminate against him and he doesn't deserve it. End of :/

I myself am autistic i really felt the joy from Christopher while watching the video. Relating to Christopher was not that difficult for me. Everyone have a lovely Christmas wherever you are!

The unfortunate truth is we live in a world with people that would find his mere existence annoying. If only the world were as kind as this comments section.

It’s true, though I would say Autism itself is a spectrum and not all autistic individuals are like Christopher. In fact some can be quite the opposite as they find social interaction difficult. Though they and all people are equal and amazing at the end of the day.☺️

People who point how the strong man stumbles are cowards shedding doubt on that which they could never achieve. Pitiful souls with so little purpose they delve into cynicalism. Take pity on these degenerate fools and the world is a more enjoyable place.

Christopher went to my primary school and college, he’s the nicest human I’ve ever met in my entire life. We became really close and I’ve always had his back whenever some social reject tries being funny, he’s a blessing.
