Shine Insurance in Florida and I just got into an accident with my brand new car for 3 days. And the airbags are deployed. Will the insurance pay me as a new car or trade in value?

@@nickzheng1126 Really sorry you're going through this and hope you are ok. In the end, that's really all that matters. If your vehicle is totaled, they'll figure the payout based on an insurance system that tends to land between trade in and retail. We tell clients to expect a number somewhere in there. Generally our companies end up paying out closer to retail but that's not a hard and fast rule. if, when you get the assessment, you feel it's low, ask them to show you how they got the numbers. Make sure they included everything that your car actually had in their estimate (sunroof, alloy wheels, etc)
