Auto Layout Intro - Figma Crash Course

This is the first video on a crash course of Figma's auto layout. We'll do a deep dive into how auto-layout works with different use cases like a UI Card, a table, a navbar, and other stuff.
But what is auto-layout? Auto Layout is a feature from Figma that lets you create dynamic components that respond to their content.
You can create buttons, inputs, tables, and cards, but how do you make them automatically resize when the text or proportions change? Well, with auto-layout, you can make responsive elements that solve this.
Also, when you combine these responsive components, you can create full templates that work across multiple device screens.
So, let's learn how to create flexible designs with Auto Layout.

Sketch is so far behind Figma now. Remember the time when people switched from Photoshop to Sketch for UI design?

It makes no sense to pay a license for one-platform software. With Figma it is possible to work even on the iPad.

Not a defender of Sketch but this feature is existing on Sketch for many years (Anima App > Auto layout plugin). So on this side, Figma is catching up.

@@antoineyng5449 yes I'm using Anima app as well. However, it's a plugin, not a native app feature. The auto-layout of Anima is not as smooth and robust as Figma, at least for me. The thing is we have to rely on plugins to achieve what Figma natively has and sometimes plugins are broken after each update.
