Only issue I had with my AO after about 3,000 rounds is that the extractor wasn't tuned correctly, so it would fling ejected brass at my head every so often.

I'm in NO WAY an expert, barley a novice, but it looks like the front paw of the ejector is broken off.

? Paw? The ejector on a 1911 is internal and straight. If you mean the extractor, it is not broken.
