Auto Union Type 52 Interior Build

This is the Auto Union Type 52. Designed as a road-going version of the famed Auto Union Type 22 grand prix racer, the streamlined Type 52 could have been the most powerful car of its era. But the 3-seated supercar of the 1930s was never built. We had the privilege of building and trimming the interior for the wonderful project, watch as we discuss how we went about it and some of the challenges we faced to deliver this period authentic interior from scratch.

As per usual with you, this is stunning, I love that all the hidden stuff is period correct as well, it really does show. Did you do that beautiful woodwork as well and if you did is there any video footage of that? Also, could you tell me the woods used, it looks like the top rail on the dash might be mahogany? Very Bugatti Atlanté type seats, simple frames and padding. Rosemyer, the driver came up with the idea of a super-saloon powered by the V16 engine from the race cars of the 30s .
