Guys, sadly you can't do Tuk Tuk's here in Vietnam. Car's will be well out of the price range as even as an example 2009 Hyundai Genesis coupe's are still costing in excess of 10K. Best to go for motorbikes, Rory will need to get his full bike license if you want more than 150cc. Weather wise, go in April or May, this is before the heat gets insane, or leave it until September. I've been living here in Hanoi for 19 years and still loving it.

So the c6 s6 v10s are fairly reliable you just have to be careful of the timing chain, as long as you keep up with maintenance they’re pretty good

Hearing all the bad stuff about N57 timing chain issues and what joshy just said about his 535d. Should i get the chains and tensioners changed now? Love the car and planning on keeping it for a while. Cant hear any rattles etc at this stage. Im based in the south and wondered if you could reccomend a good independent bmw specialist who could do the work. Cheers

I'm guessing the plate entitlement was sold after the BMW was stolen, but the mark remains on the plate even on a different vehicle?

I feel Jooshy’s pain. I also had an f11 for about 8 weeks and every other day something new broke on it. And it was all of the common stuff that had all been changed according to the service history. I spend £3k repairing it in those 8 weeks! And I paid £6k for the car. And then sold it for spares for £3 when it stopped selecting drive and no one could figure out why because there were literally no fault codes logged for anything. It was the most un reliable car I’ve ever owned. I’m now back in an e91 and loving life

Rory they do the same thing in the u.s except they decide to do construction on every road and highway and make work commutes a nightmare they close off 1 lane for 13 miles with no one working on it doesnt make sense. like there maybe 1 or two trucks for a mile then just lane closed for the other 12 for no reason. maybe someone can edjimacate me on why this is because its really annoying.
