That sound coming from the rear of the Malibu is the rear bushing on the knuckles. You’ll have to replace the entire knuckle. It’s common on then I had mine replaced not to terrible of a job.

The Tahoe and Yukon is also notorious for transmission failure. My brother just rebuild his 2018 Tahoe with 98k miles

Great video randy enjoy watching you walk around those lots something I used to do back when I got into the car business. Malibus are great cars but are notorious for brake vacuum pump failing which can cause damage to exhaust camshaft and notorious for transmission valve body issues requiring transmission replacement. Keep up the amazing videos

If the Malibu was a repo it’s got remote start the bank just made a new key and also that’s the rear knuckle making that noise theirs a tsb on it I have the same year Malibu and it’s a common issue along with the 3rd brake light

I think the clunking is just the anti roll bar in the chevy, this is a very common problem with really all cars, it should be pretty easy to replace.

Randy my dad has a 2018 xt5 with 100,000 miles and has been getting 26 miles per gallon (he does Uber). It has space, V6, 300 horsepower. Id recommend you check one out.

My neighbors own a Buy Here Pay Here lot filled with high-mileage auction vehicles and they put Douglas tires on most of their inventory. They spend the absolute minimum reconditioning vehicles but their buyers think "WOW" a new set of tires!

The Avalanche had the mid gate system where you could fold down the seats, take the rear window out, fold down the mid gate and have 9 feet of covered room you could put sheets of dry wall in and it would be weather protected and you can lock the tailgate! Silverado is just a normal pickup truck

Great walk around video, as always! I really want to see you buy one of these GM trucks, like the Avalanche! Please, no Malibus or Impalas! I don’t understand your fascination with them…. I have rented a bunch of them, and while I wasn’t outright disappointed, I felt like for around the same money the Nissan Altima was a much better car! I found the Impala’s seats to be downright uncomfortable, especially on long drives. Gotta do the Avalanche or the Yukon. In AZ, where I live 20K would be an absolute STEAL for one in that kind of shape.
