That mazda you should have taken to the track. They handle amazing. I own a 21 cx9 and have had 4 mazdas. my favorite for the last number of years.

Service may have been performed but service intervals may have not been reset, once you know how to do it the trip reset button takes on a new meaning. Best thing to do is an oil service and the other fluids and reset the intervals.

Actually, Mazda Used a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission on that CX-9, mazda had used that one on all of their vehicles, for now the CX-60 and CX-90 they have the new 8-Speed Transmission.

That Black Widow Ram, you are correct. Either at or very close to 6 figures brand new and most the time, it's just a Big Horn (middle of the road truck) with a few upgrades. Doesn't even come with the factory LED headlights/tails. No proximity entry, no sunroof, no ventilated seats...it's nuts.

Mazda does not use CVT and thank God for that ! If the CVT transmission was serviced more often than eg. the manufacturer states there would not be so many problems with it !If you wait till 90000 miles you will get problems !

Love the video Randy and the Mazda isn't bad but that red F-250 would be fun especially with a V10 that is running right. The F-350 King Ranch cleaned up wouldn't be bad either and you got to love those seats it would be a cool truck. Mazda 2.5T 250hp and 320torque with 6 speed if im not wrong. 19 was the first year of their own 2.5T instead of the ford design. Mazda 3 with the 2.5T is on my list to look at soon.

There is something messed up going on with the RAM 4X4 Quad Cab 5.7L Hemi MPG I'm seeing advertised/discussed of late. On a fresh oil change and using Exxon 87 octane gasoline our 2014 model easily managed 23mpg (the old girl came damn close to hitting 24mpg at one point) over two round trips between Northeastern South Carolina and Northern Virgina via I-95 last week. Cruise control was never engaged, and speeds averaged 75mpg with several "pedal to the metal" bursts well in excess of 90mph to avoid being rear ended by folks who, I can only assume, were afraid that the Atlantic Ocean was going to be drained before they could get to Myrtle Beach.

Years ago I was with Dealer Specialties in Tulsa, then Las Vegas. We had to print addendum with added on prices that looked like a factory Moroni label. This is how it was explained to me by the Snake oil Salesmen himself. Two out of ten will pay full sticker and that is with the addendum we added. (Pure Profit) Three will say I am not paying for that crap, and guess what they pay? Full sticker but they thought they got a deal by not paying for the addendum. The remaining five will pay less than full sticker but as long as they have a trade and need finance and warranty, they will pay through the nose also. That is why I could do the internet and web sites, inventory, prices and pictures, but sell them like a thief no thanks. The stories I could tell.

Im guessing that CX-9 was a rental car. Rental car agencies take their cars to places like Tires Plus, Pep Boys, Goodyear Total Care etc. to get serviced. If one comes back with a flat tire, they tell the shop to replace it with the cheapest tire available. And they only replace just that one tire. If its wrecked and fixable, they get places like Maaco to do the repairs since they are cheaper than most collision shops.

I completely understand why you miss older V6 engines but they are doing so much more with less you may have had a bunch of torque with the v6 but the today’s gearing and power from a small 4 cylinder these cars are faster than the old 4 speed automatics from our day just look at any minivan from today it wouldn’t be that difficult to one to run 13s in the quarter mile meanwhile in our day the corvettes ran that.

You know Randy that's why I like my 2010 Lincoln Town car with the 4.6 l V8 because if I push the gas and power brake and I can light up both back tires smoke them around the corner burning and both of them and leave a pound of rubber with rear-wheel-drive going I don't do it very often but I can that's the thing I can if I want to and I only got 80,000 miles on her so she still like new. She's been the best car I've ever owned in my I haven't even had to put brakes on the thing and it got just turned eighty thousand miles just a good car man I don't know why you don't buy more of them the new town cars are really good cars telling you last forever I know people that have for 500,000 miles on them crown vics Grand Marquis Town cars just last forever.

Crappy thing about those BMW 4 cylinder cars is everyone wants to go 25k miles between oil changes. Regular change is between 10-15k miles so that one being 10k+ over means around half the miles on the car have been with the same oil.
