@@montyholland3357 personally I think it had a tire blowout but who knows?
@Seeingred214 жыл бұрын
I agree with blowout. I had that happen once at 75 on the interstate and it nearly took the whole fender off. Afterward, I really had to look to see any damage to the wheel, which still amazes me.
@montyholland33574 жыл бұрын
@@Seeingred21 NEVER had a blowout at that speed. But I was driving a crew van with about ten people and me plus a large utility trailer when my passenger wheel decided it didn't like our company and up and left went rolling away ahead of us Just as we were coming onto a bridge. When the hub hit the break Caliper and lines ripped lose lost all my fluid, no brakes... Had to use the ebrake half way, throttle up a little to lift the nose and slowly eased the speed as I crossed the bride and came to a stop about a mile later. It was one of those times when you wish you had spare underwear 😂😱. Cuz first ya say it then you do it.. lol. JK

My thought on the Ram is it had a flat bed on it and they just threw a regular bed back on it and didn't bother connecting the filler tube. The Honda with the fender, looks like it took a hit into the wheel side of the fender and that's why it is like it is. You can see in the opening where the impact was to the fender. The Benz? Meh. The Armrest thing is the Bluetooth module. Its a leftover from prior Mercs where they sold you a special, overpriced, motorola cell phone with Merc stickers on it that was flashed with special firmware so you couldn't use an off the shelf Motorola of the same model... When bluetooth became a thing, they just made a fake phone that interfaced to the old system and connected to your phone over bluetooth.

Something hooked the fender on the civic and pulled it, luckily nothing else got damaged. I think the Ram has a flat bed and that’s where the fuel filler tube and hose come from. Since they put back a bed on it, those parts weren’t needed.

Randy: The 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL 450 4-Matic is a beautiful vehicle at whose helm I wish I was; still, I am a bit unsettled about the recalcitrance of its cabin climate control system. It sounds like to me that the evaporator core and possibly the blower motor need to be interchanged along with a refrigerant recharge. Now that the Northern Hemisphere is oriented away from the Sun, go get that evaporator core and blower motor interchanged . . . and do not forget the heater core as well. The 1993 Honda Civic Del Sol's detachable cabin roof has two latches holding it down -- one on the passenger's side along with the one on the driver's side. I would really love to see you drive away at the helm of that Del Sol, Randy; that is the vehicle my mentor Mr. Meade used to drive!
