That little 4 cylinder Cadillac makes 325hp and has a 10 speed auto, quite insane what gm was able to do with just a little 4 cylinder and don’t forget about the 3.6 twin turbo v6 they added to it in 2022

@@edan7813 thanks for clarifying, it's actually a little confusing about the whole v lineup but I did learn that the 3.5 is considered the v sport and that the 6.2 was available as just a v series if I read it correctly anyways confusing on GM's part.

The Cadillac ct4 v has it in torque too. 380 ft pounds at 325 hp. Believe the Same motor is in the Chevy Silverado. Which makes sense

The 10speed transmission is an odd duck, in the current gen F150 Raptors it gets VERY confused just from normal driving. They also start acting up if you put a tune on them and then put it back to stock. They don't like sudden accelerations followed by suddenly letting off the throttle it will downshift violently. Not really a fan, the 7speed dual clutch used in the gt500 is a superior transmission.

And that F-150 he did was a pretty good example of the 3.5 Ecboosts power delivery. My grandpa has a 2013 F-150 with 205,000 miles and the same engine and the way I saw the truck accelerate in the video is exactly the same way grandpas truck does. Even for a 2013 with the 6 speed auto and 200,000+ miles it still is going very strong and has more than enough power. I’d love to drive one of those newer F-150’s with the 5.0 and the 3.5 and see which one I like better.

I would rather have old school gauges than another screen that will probably fail before the car is beyond repair vs usage. Im one that keeps a car until its wheels basically fall off and I'm a big Toyota fan.

That CT4-V has a big 2.7 turbo in the engine bay with 325hp and 380lb/ft or torque, which is more than decent for that size sedan.

Randy-you live in OK and one would expect to find an oversized amount of trucks at the auction yards! If you were a Copart West Palm Beach (or the auction lot Monkey Wrench Mike visited in Ft Myers) one would expect to see significantly less trucks. That's the same 2.7L Turbo 4 Cyl that they put in the base Silverado and Sierra.

Also the higher end Colorado/Canyon. The CT4 has the exact same engine, while the CT4-V has a slightly higher output version with 325hp (vs. 310hp for the regular one).

That Cadillac is a pretty slick car actually. Always been a fan of the older CTS V coupes but these are cool actually. Don't mind the Mercedes but that is a nice F-150! It's great you are bringing trucks back Randy. Loved the video as always!

Re: 2.7L turbo 4 banger in the CT4-V... same and super durable engine as the full size Silverado, but with 325hp/380tq (vs 310hp/430tq in the truck). It's got more power than the LS V8s from 20 years ago.

The CT4-V and CT5-V is like the 43's on mercedes amgs or M performance like the M340i, M550i, M850i, and the Blackwing versions are the full blown versions which only come in 6-Speed Manual The CT5-V Blackwing has a 6.2L Supercharged V8 with a 6-Speed manual And the CT4-V Blackwing it's a 3.6L Twin Turbo V6 with the same 6-Speed Manual.
