At the moment I'm having a faulty bulb in one of my mirror indicators of my Focus. Unfortunately the process of changing is not described in the manual. So KZbin it is! One question: Why is everybody/Why are you taking off the mirror cap? Alternative approach idea without any car repair background: Can't one just take the mirror glass out and change the bulb that way? Is it possible to take out the indicator lens, when the bulb is removed? Push out the clip from the inside, instead of forcing it out like it is shown here. Would that be possible? Thank you!

For the headlights did you by any chance have to do anything for the auto leveling system when you changed the front indicators? Always wanted to swap out my turn signals but wasn’t sure if it would mess with the auto leveling.

Hello, the indicators have no affect on the auto levelling which is just for the headlights. The only mod that typically messes with the auto levelling that requires it to be adjusted is when lowering the car

I've just fitted some led Indercators to my car but when I press the turn signal or the hazard button the sound goes double speed in my car. The lights flash at normal speed on the exterior.

As a few people have said, I took the mirror glass off. Was a little worried it would snap but was really easy to do and then access the two bulbs (indicator and puddle). I mention as I am usually heavy handed so was worried I would snap the clips on the plastic trim so tried the mirror first LOL

Great video! Did you suffer any problems with hyperflashing? My kit for my Fiesta came with resistors that I needed to fit to prevent the indicators flashing too fast (this problem only happened when the engine was running!). I ended up uninstalling as I had read the resistors can get hot and I wasnt too confident on which wires to cut and crimp etc.

Hi Adam, there is no hyperflashing or any issues at all with these. They plug and play just like the bulbs they replace. Autobeam have all the proper electronics built in so you don't have to mess about with resistors

Bulbs are the exact same as MK7 Fiesta ST and I would guess the MK3 Focus ST. I am not sure about the spec of the MK4 Focus ST and MK8 Fiesta ST but you can filter on the Autobeam website for your specific vehicle

It hardly seems like a big deal. If I had received them instead of the silvery ones, I wouldn't be too worried. Remember that the stock bulb is a big orange blob in your clear headlight...

@@AdamRainey I've Used the LED upgrade for the reverse light in several cars now and it varies on the tail light design toyota for isntance uses like a opaque covering over the reverse light which kind of limits the light but still an improvement.
