You need the Connection option to connect an iPhone/Android Device to the system over either Bluetooth or USB to take phone calls, stream Internet radio stations, play locally-stored music or listen to Pandora. We thing this is a pretty compelling package, but pricy!

can i ask sone question i have a problem with my mini connect i used the plug you've got but i can not access everything wid my iphone it alwys said no plug in wires i can only used music but all function for mini connect is not i do have apps of mini too it can sync somehow do you think te wires is defective even though i can conek by music ...thanks hope u can hel me

Pretty sure it's a standard Y cble to the USB and 3.5mm jack in the centre console.

great review....does anyone know if the mini connected feature is available for all the mini's with the built in sat nav DVD feature or is it only after certain models? also mine says DVD read error does this require just a simple replacement of the disc? and how much are they? thanks

i have a 2009 mini cooper d, I've seen numerous amount of videos of people installing their original radio systems to then install the newer lcd screens and navigation systems? i was really interested in doing this but i am not sure in where i can purchase the lcd system in which my dad could then install it as if you go direct to mini it is rather expensive? I've seen like 2006 models with these installed so surely my model must be compatible to? Does anyone have any advice or recommend anywhere i could get this from? Thanks.

$2,500.00 distraction! An iPhone, well apped will provide most of what this system seems to provide and I already know how to use my phone. $300 cables...come on! My iPhone doesn't cost that.

This system looks cheap and plastic-ey. The area where the controls are looks like it would collect lots of gunk and if you spill a drink, the liquid would fill up the litte impression where the buttons are. And listen to that cheap click noise. What a piece of junk.
