check the drawing units first, give unit command, check the drawing is in feet or meter. Then give scale command, select base point in your drawing & enter the desire scale factor for example for 1:50 give 1/50. Generate the drawing with REGEN command. varify the scale accuracy using DIST command and add a scale label using MTEXT or DIMENSION command. if you want me to make a video on it please let me know. one video I have already provided check the video kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpKYmIltbptphKM

Why didnt she save this as a DWT file. It seems that if these are her starting preferences then saving as a DWT file would be a better starting point.
