GstarCAD is really good. Almost too good to be true. You'll find that random features might not work quite right. You can work around most these bugs. Previous versions of GstarCAD crash much more often than AutoCAD - whether 2025 does... I'm going to find out soon. I've tried a few different versions. I was forced to go back to AutoCAD on a few occasions. Once, TIF attachments wouldn't appear. Once because I needed a few features I was missing (they've since been added). And lately I've been developing AutoLISP and needed (strongly preferred) the built-in LISP debugger. There were some issues with GstarCAD's VS Code add-in and I never got a straight answer from them. I also don't have the patience for VS Code (so far it just seems like a time pit)... so back to AutoCAD I went. I'm going to try them out again soon. Competition is good and it's nice to see them improving so fast.

GstarCAD's strong compatibility with DWG files and lower licensing costs compared to AutoCAD make it a suitable option for budget-minded designers in India who prioritize seamless collaboration.

I saw the system requirements in AUTOCAD site for version 2025. That I would like to learn is some specific examples of minimum requirements for CPU and if we need and GPU. If a CPU with integrated gpu is enough (example AMD Ryzen 5 5600G) I would like some specific models of AMD or INTEL CPUs
