Excellent interview Hormazd. Very informative and glad to see Santosh being transparent about the approach. The way I see it, Mercedes is not focused on the high end salaried class. They are focusing on the business class instead because that's where they see the possibility and profitability for growth. This clears the viewpoint. Salaried class can focus on Volvo, Audi, and at best BMW to meet their aspirational wants. Either way, it will be interesting to see how Mercedes grows from here.

Brilliant . Personally having owned brands like Range Rover that is TATA owned.. however low sales = bad after sales services. Only wish Mercedes would localise more so we could pay for a Mercedes as low as they pay for it in the US or the EU!
