Seeing Lesson 12, I always thought the layer symmetry command was a virtual symmetry, but the curve that came out of the symmetry can also be selected and created a surface. Very good teaching. I always thought that the central curve squeezed out a plane, and then chose to make the surface tangent or continuous curvature.

Thank you! It is virtual, but you can still pick curves to make a surface. I think it's pretty neat feature.

@@benkindred5995 Sounds good! I think Alias is definitely more suited for design work. Also, most design studios, both automotive and product, use Alias over other programs.
