hi... am trying to do an FEA on a rotating shaft but the problem is flexible. when I apply a point load it goes straight in the middle of the shaft. when I try to move the point load towards the left, it does not move. Can you please help me as to how I go about applying the point load at any X-distance of the shaft when doing Stress analysis (FEA)

For the first example, shouldn't the stress be maximum at the centre of your part? Why does it show the maximum stress at the side?

There's no way that's accurate... that bar wouldn't flex at all under 100 pounds of force if it was made of aluminum!

There is amplifier setting value for the movement to show up. It can be adjusted and if its set to real, then it only shown stress in colors.
