TFI - CAD & Technology For Industry: I suspect you’re working on an instructional video, and I also think you’re using a hex-head bolt as the moving unit. 😉

That feeder simulation in the beginning looks cool. Where can I find a tutorial for it?
@paulnormand7305 жыл бұрын
You can find a guided tutorial on how to create the feed screw by starting Inventor 2020, then clicking the Get Started tab>Tutorial Gallery. Set the Place filter to All Available, and the Type filter to All. If you sort by Recently Added, Create a feed screw with solid sweep will be near the top of the list. Currently available in English, but it will soon be available in the 12 other languages we support. If you've never used a guided tutorial, you need an active internet connection to download the tutorial, then it runs locally. Guided tutorials contain datasets and videos for each task for a hands on experience.

The interface and operation of inventor looks so suitable to me, shall I switch to inventor from creo?
@sprechendemulltonne50515 жыл бұрын
Of course! Used creo before and it's a relief!

Been using inventor for 3 days as a student, already got used to it!! It’s easier than autoCAD, I love it!!
@High-C8H185 жыл бұрын
Personally I have been using inventor for four years and find it to be a solid software that is generally brought down by it's performance issues. Generally I would say if you are using Creo don't switch the benefits generally are not worth it.

But have you added rivets to the bolted connection tool yet? This is way overdue.

Having designed feed scrolls for many years wishing for Autodesk to get their act together, its nice to see them taking a step forward, guess its just a pity the generated profile created would not actually work! *facepalm

How do I turn my inventor’s view to look like this? This background is totally white, but mine is still blue. And the features appears in on the left side of the screen, and mine continues on a pop up. What can I do?

Is inventor free, or the update? Inventor costs a lot of money but students can get a free educational version. The update is available if you pay a subscription for inventor.
