@@NathanaelPotoski oh- ok. lol im 13, do you still do digital art?
@NathanaelPotoski3 жыл бұрын
@@rikariskedlife Sadly not as much as I would like. I used to be way better at it but with no time on my hands most of it looks like I just started drawing. Work and life keeps me busier than I would like. I weld and work with wood a little bit. If you are interested in advise, I would strongly recommend that before you enter the work force (since you are 13) stick with this and practice every second you can. Cause I didn't and I can tell you I wish I had. I could still get where I want to go with art, but it means carving out what little time is left in my day and neglecting other things. So stick with it. You'll thank yourself later. 😁

As this is going on 4 years now, in the most recent updated version, which I have, when you want to flood fill the ellipse, you need to draw it on a separate layer then open bucket icon and to the right there is the option for Sample one/Sample all layers, you have to click that to flood fill. At least that is how I did it.

Why did you fill the shape with all black first? Also are your colors and fills set to 100 % of the tolerance, opacity, etc? ( or is it pressure on this app?) Do you recommend coloring on one layer or multiple layers for highlight , shadows and darker shadow? Did you pick red for the eyes because it is a complimentary color for green?

at 10:00 or so, there's a white arrow pointing downwards at the critters head. When you follow the arrow the other way, it'll bring you to the menu'tool'bar where there is a (bended) line with some dots. That's the one you need to draw smooth lines.
