This video covers all the things I already know how to do with a select tool, and skips over all the simple things--like how to cut, copy, paste, resize, or move a selection--that I can usually do with selections, but can't figure out in Sketchbook. A couple of times in the video it seems like maybe you'll say something about how to do what I see on the screen, but none of the things are explained. I can select something in Sketchbook, and then I can unselect it. I suppose I figure it out on my own, or I don't.

I want to cut a large head out of one layer and paste it into another but the selection square seems to fail , the paste turns off in the next layer or the selectionsquare doesn’t grab the head so the square moves but the head doesn’t. Very frustrating

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. i use thye mobile version. my Selection tool not working. When dragging the rectangle the dotted line disappear as soon as I let go and the magic wand just never appears. Do you have any solution?

Did those tools ever work properly? If so, I’d reset the app to default settings, and if that doesn’t work reinstall the app… If they have never worked properly, then it may just be a compatibility issue between the app and your device. This video was made using the iPad version, I’m honestly not sure if that counts as mobile, but it is iOS. I have used the iPhone version a few times successfully, but I definitely noticed a few features didn’t work as well as they did on my iPad. Good luck and feel free to ask more questions. I don’t work for Autodesk, but I love their products and I also love trying to help people with my experience.

Is there a way I can select more than one layer to move something. Example I got a circle in one layer, and the color in another and shading in the last. All to create a ball. And say I want to move them all without merging them. Is it possible

Yes, select the "Sample one" option next to the magic wind, it would work

I have a problem of white pixels appearing at the edges of my coloring when using magic wind, do you know how to fix it please?

You should try adjusting the tolerance of the magic wand. It is a slider on the toolbar. It sounds like you need to increase the tolerance.

@@mr.peckPHS I did that before, i increased the tolerance to the maximum, I face the same problem with filling, even when i fill more than once the white edges never disappear, the only solution i found is to color with neither filling nor magic wind, but it's annoying and takes me a lot of time

The most common reason I see for this, is not having the correct layer selected.

Pen pressure not working on Android.

Try going to the Preferences in the Sketchbook app and check your Pen Connection settings. Other than that, I don’t have an android device so I probably won’t be much help.
