How to change a front shock strut on PEUGEOT 206 1 (2D) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

So im doing this for a mate on his car, 1 the locking bolt on half shaft is different, and the bolt at the bottom of the shock wont come out, any advice please?

Haynes manual says 'Strut upper retaining nut = 45 Nm but this video shows 65 Nm... That extra 20 Nm could possibility put addition strain on top hat rivets and top hat bearings

The Torque of the strut clamp bolt to swivel hub assemblee is not right. It must be 54 nm not 105nm!!@autodoc

Dear @autodoc.co.uk where are you getting the torque specs from? It seems like almost every value is higher than what I see in other manuals. Could you please specify?

105nm is for the rear suspension shock, not the front.... agreed, 54nm

Is wheel alignment required after this?
