I just love the classic reviews on the AE lot even more than the new ones in Peter's yard, Bill. Weren't it for repairs and maintenance on the ABC-Fahrwerk, I'd totally buy an R230 SL55. So people have to settle for the CLK 55. Still with an M113, but sadly not supercharged. Anyway, thanks for the review.

I think the push button starter in the gear selector is only for cars equipped with Keyless Go, an optional feature in US 2005 cars.

Just because a car is fast doesn't make it a "Super Car" if that's the case a Dodge Hellcat would be a supercar 0-60 in 3.5sec top speed 202mph 707hp

Did a hellcat exist when this was new. Use a bit of critical thinking. This car went up against Ferraris and mclarens F1s. So if it could run with the super cars and beat them at their own game then it is a super car.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek initially ...sorry T I agree it doesnt fall into the correct definition of a’Supercar’ but who needs a Supercar anyway.... I have divested myself of all that could gave been described as such ..the 997 turbo S certainly was but it was a great car but for 75% of the time virtually unusable at full potential ... Im going to get back to a Cayman GTS or R much more usable in real world conditions Maybe a 1M might be a thought too
