I think these new cameras have great auto focus. I only go on manual focus for some specific shot but since i freak out about missing something i make sure i put peaking level on high red so i can make sure i see whats on focus. Great Vid my bro.!

I started my photography using eye+face detect with AI Servo AF on my canon rebel sl3... what I found is that it's shhhht in this camera just like RP(shot fired) while it focuses sometimes (35%) it will hunt for focus on a person who is just standing still if you keep pressing that button half way down.. I stop using this autofocus because it was wasting my time all the time AND I always feel like I have no control of what to focus because the AI doesnt know what I want to focus.... but I found out that my camera actually has a Manual Focus Peaking, it is 100% freaken sharp and it does not hunt.. I was thinkinh of buying r6 mark ii just for the autofocus but because of Focus Peaking discovery, I just saved myself $2,500 body and $2,600 85mm 1.2 rf lens. My tip is if you are doing portrait photography that the subject doesnt move at all, then go manual.. if not go buy a good camera with a really good autofocus

4:46 actually the focus by wire lenses have infinite throw and works based on speed rather then distance moved by the ring
