Pro tip, there are small, semi spherical and clear rubber feet in most hardware stores made for various objects, like under a coffe machine so it doesn't skratch the table when moved, anyway. THE TIP, put one of these on each button, it will make it very easy to press in the right place every time without putting any thought into it since the finger will automatically locate and press the highest point👉

I had the smart hook but it gave up after the first time I tried it and the supply was not much help after sending a few emails so I went with the power probe hook and I have not had any problems or trouble with and power probe after sales team are very helpful with any additional questions or information

The video editing is certainly clean and well done. I am a little concerned considering this same tool is being marketed under several different brands but all seem to have issues. One video showed the scope function shutting down the CAN bus. Others showed issues with inadequate circuit protection. The ultimate difference was shown on vehicles that were broke as apposed to ideal conditions (where you actually need the tool to perform). Buyer be very aware and explore videos tested in the field.

The video is ok showing every function, however for an accurate explanation for every function I would recommend that the functions are explained in detail on actual vihacle. I'm considering getting one.

The Probe functions the same way on a vehicle as on the bench, however if you want to see that here is a video showing how to use a probe on a car kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHW6Yp6cmq-Va80 Just remember that the number of possible ways to use it is only limited by the imagination and the skill of the mechanic using the tool. Some mechanics use it for basic testing like a multimeter and some use it for advanced testing such as activating components (each with it's own method of activation depending on the component) or sensor testing (each again with it's own test routine described in the service manual for the car being tested). Hi Mcloven! Yes mine is still working well, as far what I recommend, I like to tell people to make sure the probe you are choosing has the feature you need. I can recommend a probe but if it does not have the feature you need then it won't be the right probe for you (different probes have different capabilities). Hi Beats! While some basic O2 sensors testing can be performed with a DMM, I usually recommend using a DSO due to the voltage high switch rate. It can be done with stand alone system like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGrPdGSQlNetkM0 or with a scan tool like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/en7NZpyGZ754rLc with the scope attachment. Cheers!
