Just got back from a ride with a group of friends in my one friends stock m340i with the gloss black wheels and the tanzanite blue metallic paint in sport plus mode It is absolutley insane, the sound roar of the engine, the exhaust popping when you let off of the gas, the sound of the turbo and the amount of force pushing you back into your seat when the boost kicks in, and it handles corners sooo well, and on top of all that, it is so comfy and such a nice interior and smooth ride!! I am absolutely in love with the M340i.

When I race , if I jump or didn't get an even start I let off. We've always done it this way. I care more about and even race then beating someone. For reals lol. The tears in here are causing a flood sheesh. Even at .25 speed you can clearly see and hear it's not much of a jump, sounds more like brake boosting. Even at the roll race events, they have rules that help the imperfect starts because 2 cars already rolling will never be perfect like dig races. I'm sure if there was any egregious jumping AG would of mentioned it.

I picked up a TTRS a few months ago and currently done FBO stock turbo e85 tuned on DS1 approximately 540whp on a hub dyno. I did a few test runs and the best so far I have got is 5.6second 100-200 and that is with 3/4 full tank, no weight reduction and on e73. It is insane to see I am not too far off a 800WHP upgraded turbo GTR.... These ttrs tuned are no joke at all. With its current setup and lower fuel I believe it has a 5.4 in it on better condition road. With weight reduction - low 5's.

To start I'm a BMW guy but it was plain to see the BMW couldn't brake boost and hold the start mph. He jumped and the one time he didn't the Gtr got out on him with the same jump. Think the bmw is stronger but not as much as what it looked like.

They weight exactly the same, if the m340i is xdrive it’s actually 120lbs heavier. Edit - the video just clarified it was a rwd model so they both weigh 3,850-3,880lbs

I don’t know if you noticed or not but during the first race(around the 3:00 mark in the video) the bmw definitely got a small hit I agree, but as someone with 2 working eyes I can see the bmw was obviously pulling away atleast 3-6mph faster than the gtr the whole race.

You’re racing a car which is exactly your horsepower from a standstill, you give them a 2 car lead(the same as a 1 second jump) if you actually have the same power to weight you’ll maintain a 2 car gap. If you pull on them you have more power, if they pull away and there’s 3 cars gap at the end of the race instead of 2 they obviously have power on you.
