Wow, it’s fascinating how personal taste can differ so much. To me, the OEM design is spot-on, aggressive yet minimalistic, and perfectly suited for a bold, masculine look. The previous M2 models, like the 2022, had a more classic European vibe, which felt a bit softer and more refined. The new M2, on the other hand, reminds me of a Dodge Challenger in its spartan, muscular character, which I absolutely love. There is no right or wrong here, just incredible diversity in how we perceive design. I don’t own one, but if I did, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Agree with everything you said about the way this car drives. It’s a beast in terms of handling, power, and breaking. An absolute proper 4 seater sports car. After driving it for 4 months, and pulling a 1.14g on a corner without sweating my balls off is very satisfying!

Having had the og and m2 comp, I can say with all honesty that i couldn't wait for the work day to end just so i could high tail that f87 comp back home. What rang true and rather disappointing in your video is when you state (paraphrasing) that you're not excited or think about getting back in and driving the g87 again. I bought the wife the new z4. While objectively its quick, handles like a humming bird on highway, shifts/turns in quickly, it just feels LIFELESS. This is why i ordered an Emira hoping to love driving again! When I first saw the M2 G87 , I thought it was a wind up and thought it was ugly as sin. Now I’ve seen them more they’ve grown on me , but you’re correct about the grille , it makes the front end look like a Halfords special ..

I picked mine up from Northampton dealership on Saturday gone! Went with Toronto Red with all black wheels so it's as it is from factory and I actually don't mind the naked looks for now!! But I'm sure that will wear thin I'm sure

They put space between the wheels and fender to allow for suspension movement. You know, for potholes, bumps and things like that.

That's finally a car I can see menay people adusting to their needs, the past models were barely styled, literally looked all stock with slight adjustments, this is a real BMW for those who love to tune and style. BMW delivered a foundation for everyone to make it what they love it to be. Remember e36's? Yeah, that's an e36 lifestyle car: Do what you want with it, tune it, style it, change it, adjust it, until you have what you want. In 10-15 years this one will be the "boke hood youth car" overstyled and overtuned to extremes :)

The basic of driving.... Your position is too reclined. Your arms form an angle of 140/150 degrees rather than the optimal 90/100. Place your seat properly and the space in the back will be massively increasing. When the second driver is at the wheel he is consantly lifted from the back of the seat.

The 230i is the one to get. I've tested the m2 it's probably juat a vit too much of a beast for a daily in winter in the UK. But the 2025 2 series coupe 230i 265bnp feels like 300bhp. Try them back to back. You'll be amazed.

That's my dilemma. I live in NW Ohio where bad winters are hit or miss. Really like this car and have done ok with rwd cars for the past 15 years or so since I switch over to a winter tire and wheel package (except for the occasional blizzard or ice storm of course). But it is kind of a hassle and not cheap. Kind of thinking of trading my Challenger 1320 for one of these or an RS3 which has awd, but may wait until next year for the xdrive M2, but don't want to pay more than 65k and I'm sure there will be an increase for that option. Yeah I know some will say just get a beater and I've looked, but would really like an older Cherokee and it's hard to find one that's still in good shape and not easy to take a loan out on a vehicle that old.

Generally speaking, M cars are for grown ups, they're priced out of the affordability of youngsters, and that wing is something a teenager would stick on their 12 year old Honda Civic next to a not very witty rearrangement of the badging to spell out some childish word. There are a LOT of G87 Owners running wings. The TRE wing was always going to be controversial but it's designed with purpose creating a 50/50 downforce distribution from the rest of our Body Kit producing 108KG downforce at 120mph. Jack didn't actually say 'you have to change the rear wing' vehicle styling is subjective, if you'd like OEM+ Products we have them available too, we cater for the basic market as well as those who want to take it that step further.

As the owner of a g82c and a 992 gt3, and virtually every M and 911, BMW is going from bad to worse on this generation unfortunately. Sure the car will spit amazing numbers. But it lacks every single bit of engagement. Sad, cause that being fixed, it would be one of the greatest cars. The S58 is the best 6 cylinder engine, and I’m including porsche engines there too. Nothing comes close to the S58 but unfortunately porsche is so far ahead on engagement..I really miss my F87! Hence why an F87 is still just as much as a new G87

Its an awful looking car in stock form. You have made them look a hell of alot better with these bits. Its the worst looking M car ever produced but black works wonders for it. If I was ever to get one it would have to look like this and in this colour. Im currently in a f87 m2 and im not tempted at all by these. Be looking at the g80 m3 next I think.
