Can we use supabase instead of pinecone , what is the difference ?
@AIAgentDamian23 сағат бұрын
Yes, you can. Supabase is great for storing relational data (like standard databases) and vectors, so its flexible for various use cases. Pinecone, on the other hand, is built specifically for high-performance vector search, so it’s faster and more efficient for tasks like semantic search (the most common practical use case). Choose Supabase for an all-in-one flexible solution and Pinecone for speed and scalability in vector queries.

You can easily self-host Supabase, whereas Pinecone is a managed vector database service, so need to pay for subscription (but free tier available).

Right? I actually managed to improve Emily so she sounds more human, but I didn’t want to re-record the demo. The best part is, this setup is super cheap to run! I’ve built even more impressive AI Agents and systems, which I’ll be sharing soon. Stay tuned!
