can it be used with headphones?

No. You can wedge it between an existing over the ear headphone and your ear and it will work well but that is a huge gaff on the companies end. They should make a headset that accomodates it but as of now (April 2022) it's not a thing.

This device is a piece of junk. Instructions don't work. Device doesn't work as stated in instructions. Not intuitive at all.
