Very educative but would you mind interlocking the two contactors for safety reasons, kindly. Then an Aux contactor should be incorporated because the gen need not be manually turned off when Utility supply is restored

Yes you can design this but the thing is that the gen you want to turn on must be a key start generator and I think it has to be an industrial generator too cause those sumec generator has a choke which you must return
