Wow impressive engineering on this device. Surprised so many parts for injection molding yet I do admit I am not fully versed in injection molding.

But how good the quality of the bullets being dropped in the bucket? I paused the video and looked at some them and they look a bit scratched up or nicked. Are the bullet molds in good shape? Remember dropping a fresh cast bullet onto a hard surface like your ramp can malform the bullets. They should be dropped on cool cloths or into a bucket of water to quench.

Bill, the email shown doesn't work. Do you still have this machine? I'm interested.

This automated casting machine would have to be very expensive. And despite the fact that it would be nice to turn on a machine and have it start spitting out cast bullets, there would be no way to justify the expense. Even if you had the funds to afford it.

I don't know. You can get a lower automated bullet master for about $7,000-10,000. And that is quite a good price if you are like me who shoots only cast bullets. Look at it this way. If you can afford to shoot regularly, you generally should be able to earn around $10-15 or higher at work after taxes. Assume that casting would be taking up time you could otherwise be working overtime and then consider that it only takes 466-700 hours to "buy" said machine. Consider that it takes at least an hour or two to make 500 bullets conventionally, I can definitely see a huge saving in time/money (whatever is more valuable to you) with a machine. Consider it this way, people waste tons of money (probably that much) on buying a new gun or "quality" AR-15, when you can cut the cost of your ammunition drastically by using a machine to cast your bullets much faster. Its clear that the machine is quite affordable in the long run (an it probably only takes a year or two of shooting for it to earn its place). For me, I have metallworking abilities so I made my own and I haven't ever looked back.

unless you are a small company producing ammunition in countries with high import taxes on anything rifle and pistol related including ammunition.

***** You don't even imagine what kind of disgusting sounds these bullets make while penetrating your skulp. Military nerds don't care about the sounds of factory designed to kill people. Also this factory is one of the quietest I've ever seen.

+Alexander Borsi You've never worked in a factory, been in an auto repair shop, been on a gun range, or had to put up with a crying baby? When showing a process, it's important to share all of it, including the noise.
