Automatic Subtitles with Kdenlive

This helps a LOT, thank you very much. I had given up trying to get this to work. But it was that selector bar at 0:43 that was the "ah-ha" moment for me. Now I can avoid those strange words KZbin puts in their version of my subtitles. 👍👍👍

I can only seem to get the 'small' vosk models to work. Is there a reason why the regular and gigaspeech ones don't seem to generate any subtitles?

The big ones take up a LOT of RAM. Looks like it's timing out before it loads for you. The small 40 MB one is like 90% as good.

@@arthurpizza I've played around with small and it makes alot of mistakes. I've got like 16GB in my machine rn, how much would you guess I'd need for the larger models?

the small vosk is the only one working for me also, but I don't want more to be honest at least to me it is a lot better than those online subtitle generators.

Hey, do you know if you can change the subtitles for only a certain area? I want to center the text for a portion of my video, but it centers it for the entire project.

Nope, doesn't work. The wand always says setup you model, but my settings look like yours. Also you shouldn't click so fast. Tell people, what you're clicking!
