How to remove parts of added subtitles? I know I can delete the text but I can't seem to find a way to delete the whole block that's been added. I was adding subtitles to a 3-ish minutes video and there are 2 sections where only music is playing. Resolve added a blocks with [Music] in those places. I want to remove those parts completely.

When exporting the video, you must select whether to export the subtitles already added to the video, a subtitle track within the video... there's a section for that in the render settings. If you don't select it, the video will be exported without the subtitles.

Yes, it's from the Studio version. Whenever it's for the Studio version, I mention it in the title. You can try Capcut; it's a free editing program and has this feature, and it has more options, such as subtitle animations.

When you download a youtube video, you can select the option to download the transcript. It has all text and timestamps. When I add this srt file to DaVinci and export the video, the timestamp values are included in the export video. Obviously I want only the speech text. Is there a way to fix this?

For me, I will export the subtitle to .srt files first by right-clicking on subtitle panel on left side and choose export subtitle. Then doing the translation with another apps called Subtitle Edit (free apps on Windows). But if you need to bring the subtitle again to DaVinci Resolve, you need to manually adjust the beginning of subtitle. Hope it helps. Cheers!

Yes, you can customize and change color, but for now there are no animations, to be able to make animations or transitions you have to do it manually with a text clip.

In the latest version (18.5), the Relight effect and automatic subtitles are new features that were released a few weeks ago. It's still in BETA, so it's likely that they will soon add more languages and types of subtitles.
